Miss URI Robin Boner is Miss Rhode Island

Miss University of Rhode Island 2011 Robin Boner competed in the Miss Rhode Island Competition and has successfully become Miss Rhode Island 2011. Robin Boner is a sister of the Alpha Phi sorority at the University of Rhode Island. She is an active sister and will be competing in the Miss America competition. We would like to congratulate Miss Rhode Island Robin Boner.

Graduating Brothers

On May 22, 2011 Matthew Finan, Eric Fox, Brian Marone, and Matthew DaCorte will be graduating from the University of Rhode Island. Eric, former Vice President of Delta Chi, is graduating with a degree in Political Science and will be attending Law School after graduation. Matthew Finan, former IFC President and Delta Chi Secretary, is graduating with a degree in Communications and will be taking a sales rep job in New Jersey after graduation. Brian Marone, former Associate Member Coordinator, is graduating with a degree in Sociology with a focus in Criminal Justice and will be looking for a job as a police officer after graduation. Finally, Matthew DaCorte, former Alumni Relations Chair, will be graduating with a degree in Journalism and will be looking for positions with a magazine or newspaper after graduation. We look forward to hear from these brothers in the future as they will be becoming members of the Alumni Board of Trustees. Congratulations Brothers and thank you for all of your tireless work with the fraternity. We'll miss you!

Tickets for the Miss University of Rhode Island Pageant will go on sale tomorrow, March 4, 2011, in the University of Rhode Island Memorial Union. If you cannot purchase tickets at this time, tickets will be sold at the door of Edwards Auditorium on the day of the event. Delta Chi has sponsored the second annual Miss URI Pageant. The event will be held in Edwards Auditorium on Friday, March 11th, at 6 pm. 15 of the most beautiful women on campus will be competing for the title of Miss URI and an opportunity to compete on the state level at the Miss Rhode Island Pageant this May. Come support your fellow students! Tickets are on sale now.
